Moss Pill Return Policy

At Moss Pill, we dedicate countless hours to crafting and perfecting each piece, and we’re confident you’ll love your purchase. Still, we understand that buying handcrafted items online can feel like a leap of faith. That’s why your order is fully protected by our “Pill Guarantee”—so you can shop with total confidence.

    Return Period

    • You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

    Return Conditions

    To qualify for a return:

    • Items must be in the same condition you received them: unused, unaltered, with original tags, and in their original packaging.
    • Photos of the product are required when submitting your request.
    • Proof of purchase (receipt or order number) must be provided.
    • These conditions do not apply to defective or damaged products (see Damages & Issues below).

    How to Return

    1. Contact us at mosspillbrand@gmail.com to request a return.
    2. If approved, we’ll provide a return shipping label and detailed instructions.
    3. Returns should be sent to: Heredia, Heredia, Costa Rica.

    Please note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective or incorrect. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

    Imperfections & Craftsmanship

    Each Moss Pill product is handmade in Costa Rica. Small variations or imperfections are part of the piece’s unique character, reflecting the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi—finding beauty in imperfection and authenticity. These are not considered defects.

    Refunds

    • Once your return is received and inspected, you’ll be notified of approval.
    • If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
    • Please note that banks or credit card providers may take additional time to process the refund.
    • If 15 business days have passed since your refund approval, contact us at mosspillbrand@gmail.com.

    Damages & Issues

    • Inspect your order upon arrival.
    • If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can evaluate and resolve the issue.
    • While handmade, each piece also undergoes strict quality control to ensure excellence.

    Exceptions

    • We do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

    Exchanges

    • To make an exchange, return the original item first by following the return process above. Once accepted, you can place a new order.
